DESCRIPTION:Jewish Voice for Peace Presents an Evening with BRIVELE ! בריוועלע and Other Jewish Anti-Fascists\, living and dead! \nDoors at 7:30pm; Performances at 8:00pm\n$6-$16 sliding scale at the door~\n \nBRIVELE is a Seattle-based anti-fascist klezmer folk-punk trio who braid together oral history\, Yiddish language\, contemporary and old-country musical genres\, American Vaudeville\, and visual arts. ELLIS is a poet\, editor\, curator\, and performing artist. She is the author of the poetry collection Write About an Empty Birdcage (Write Bloody Publishing). She is a Lambda Literary Fellow\, a self-identified Mountain Femme\, and a founding member of the Kulshan Academy for Queer Artists. She has served as a consultant for Jewish Voice for Peace. \nROBERT YERACHMIEL SNIDERMAN is a poet\, performance and visual artist. Through 2018\, he worked as a DAAD Research Fellow at the Institute for Art in Context in Berlin\, where he contemplated\, amassed an archive\, and performed public art actions with/in the largest intact and active Jewish cemetery in Europe.
