Smile Lines is a new project featuring Greg Saunier (Deerhoof) and Rozie Jordan.
Mistresses is a new side project of Arone Dyer (Buke and Gase, Dronechoir) and Ryan Oslance (Ahleuchatistas) who met when their respective bands went on tour together in 2013. Their music could be described as “arty dance pop” and the duo’s live performance, despite the members’ long distance home-bases of Hudson, NY and Asheville, NC, is a rapidly evolving quality fun and sonic pleasure, consisting of live drums, grimy synth and catalyzing melodic vocals w/harmonies.
