While we are in transition and searching for a stable home base, we will continue to produce events with some of our neighborhood partners.

The AltLib Popup Series will present roving events to continue supporting expansive art projects and dig deep for uncommon cultural exchanges. If you’re interested in setting up a show with us, please read our booking page and send us an e-mail.

Sweet Creature
Rabbit underground, rabbit safe and sound.

Since 2003, Anna Arvan has been writing and performing lyrically driven pop music as I Love You Avalanche. In addition to myriad four track recordings and random scraps, Fiction, the first full-band I Love You Avalanche record made in the studio, was released in 2013. Since then, Anna Arvan and Nora Hughes have been playing as a two piece focusing on vocal harmonies. They have recently added drums and bass, and are currently putting together a new record.

Porch Cat is a Bellingham-based queer pop punk band fronted by singer-songwriter Chan Barraza. Lyrically drawing from Barraza’s experiences as a gender nonconforming lesbian living with chronic illness, Porch Cat uses specificity to speak to the human experiences of loneliness, love, loss, and pain.
