While we are in transition and searching for a stable home base, we will continue to produce events with some of our neighborhood partners.
The AltLib Popup Series will present roving events to continue supporting expansive art projects and dig deep for uncommon cultural exchanges. If you’re interested in setting up a show with us, please read our booking page and send us an e-mail.

Orindal Records is a Chicagoland DIY music label specializing in vinyl & tape releases for experimental songmakers, gentle weirdos & melancholic introverts between the shores of California and Maine.
Tucson, Arizona interdisciplinary artist Karima Walker walks a line between two worlds. Aside from her long resume of collaborative work with artists in the diverse fields of dance, sculpture, film, photography and creative non-fiction, Walker has long nurtured a duality within her work as a musician, developing her own sonic language as a sound designer in tandem with her craft as a singer/songwriter.
Claire Cronin is a writer and musician from Los Angeles whose work explores the supernatural and metaphysical themes of haunted Americana.
Advance Base is the melancholic story-song synth-pop project of Chicago, IL singer/songwriter Owen Ashworth (formerly of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone). Using a two-handed arsenal of electric piano, Omnichord, samplers, effect pedals & drum machines, Ashworth builds minimalist, heavy-hearted, & nostalgia-obsessed ballads around his conversational baritone.
AltLib is always ALL AGES!
