While we are in transition and searching for a stable home base, we will continue to produce events with some of our neighborhood partners.

The AltLib Popup Series will present roving events to continue supporting expansive art projects and dig deep for uncommon cultural exchanges. If you’re interested in setting up a show with us, please read our booking page and send us an e-mail.

Liew Niyomkarn is an Antwerpen based artist who works with sound, found objects and essay. Liew’s work is known for its ecstatic and unpredictable event. Often expresses a sensory of flexibility and impermanence behavior through live performance. She often uses essay, found-objects, and sculpture in her performance. Her works range from music composition, drawing, storytelling, and real-time performance.

Antwerp-based producer, musician and sound artist Inne Eysermans creates musical performances and spatial compositions, often in combination with text and/or (moving) image. She has produced music and sound for film, theatre and radio/podcast. Her works encompass synthesis, resampling techniques, field recordings, found sounds and objects. In 2017 she joined as lecturer in sound/music at The Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. For her live shows, Inne works mainly with Max/MSP & Mira. She is interested in amplifying, transforming and interpreting physical and virtual spaces which embeds instructed and spontaneous actions. Therefore, she recently started using web coding to provide semi-structured environments for interactive improvisation and performance systems.

Steven Sehman crafts experimental electronic music that combines analog synths, acoustic instruments, field recordings, spoken text, and digital media.
His music address dualities, where ambient, minimal textures give way to dense, engulfing soundscapes. And floating landscapes are shadowed by anxiety, becoming a somewhere path for wanderers.
