Theme of first reading group: Political Imagination

Guiding Questions:

What do we mean by political imagination?

What might it mean to “open-up” political imagination and why/how might this be useful?

How does the prole.info piece imagine our everyday relationships (to one another through work, community, media, etc.)? And what does the piece suggest (if anything) that we do to change them?

How does the Tyler the Creator song imagine our everyday relationships and are there suggestions for changing them?

Why might it be important to utilize multiple levels of engagement to open up the political imagination?

What are some limits of imagining and how do we move into political possibility?
