Foucault’s Pendulum
Umberto EcoThree publishers of obscure occult books from loonies publish their own occult mystery as a joke, full of puzzles and esoteric humor. It gets out of hand. Hijinks ensure.
Seriously though, this book is awesome, but oh so wordy. Be prepared to learn a lot as you figure out what Eco is saying. It’s The Da Vinci Code but actually intelligent and self-aware, rather than only pretending to be. Get a dictionary in Hebrew.
