The authors of this book of essays represent various professions and other areas of activity in the community, but they subscribe to the same philosophy: a) the social necessity of transforming the national economy to one established in law and planned and controlled by government to serve the needs of the majority of the population — the workers of the US, and b) a government committed to providing for the social, economic and cultural growth and progress of all of the people.
