While we are in transition and continuing our search for a stable home base, we will continue to produce events with some of our neighborhood partners!
This AltLib Popup Series will run through the summer, presenting roving events to continue supporting expansive art projects and dig deep for uncommon cultural exchanges, while we search for a new space to ground our collective. If you’re interested in setting up a show with us, please read our booking page and send us an e-mail.

Formerly known as Hungry Cloud Darkening, New Issue is an Anacortes-based trio whose members also play with Mount Eerie and Ever Ending Kicks. For their most recent EP, they recorded as a Farfisa/Acetone organ trio. “Blending elements of incredible vocal harmonies, sharp witted lyricism, and creative talents behind every instrument from 12 stringed acoustic guitar to synthesizers, vibraphone, and trombone.” – http://www.anacortes.net
Wrinkles is a five-piece indie rock band from Missoula, Montana. Their songs range from sparse, ominous dream pop to guitarmanized rock anthems, but are tied together with the band’s propensity for interlocking hooks and melodies. Accept Wrinkles!
Local support from:
Four humans, one larynx, multiple strings, several blunt objects, and a smattering of electronic devices. Influences include no wave, krautrock, free jazz, distant children crying out in what could equally well be anguish or mirth, etc.
