Korra the Kid b2b Steve G

Steve G is a DJ and producer from Seattle, WA. Starting as a producer in 2011, he picked up DJing as a way to share his music with the world and fell in love with the art. He then broke out into the Seattle scene through DnB Tuesdays, the United States’ longest consecutively running drum & bass weekly.

Under the name Blackmasque, 2014 saw the release of his first drum & bass release though Techdics House Audio called the “Tunnel Vision” EP. Later that year, he would be accepted into the DnB Tuesdays crew.

2016 saw a huge upward push: providing support for some of drum & bass’ most well-respected names, releasing his first official studio mix, joining Seattle’s Anomaly Music Collective, and going on a US tour. His studio mix “push.it” – a heavy-hitting barrage showcasing his skills as a DJ – demonstrated his potential, reaching 15th in “jungle,” 31st in “drum and bass,” and 99th in “edm” in Mixcloud’s charts.

Steve G has provided support for Roomate, Homemade Weapons, Kid Hops, Quadrant, Iris, Demo, Klute, ,Ant-TC1, and Digital. He continues his efforts not only as a DJ and producer, but as an active member of Seattle’s drum & bass scene and nightlife.

As Deep N Bass’s youngest resident DJ, Korra the Kid specializes in liquid drum and bass and halftime, but her long history in music has let her become a DJ who is fluent in the many genres of underground bass. After sharing the stage with big name artists such as Spectrasoul, Chimpo, Truth, Holly, and more, Korra the Kid has become a name synonymous with clean transitions and unique mash ups. Having mixed for over four years and performed at prestigious venues such as Kremwerk, Q Nightclub, and The Wild Buffalo, it is clear her mixing style is the product of practice and an understanding of the underground music scene.
